Ok, you got this far and your ready to assemble your packet so you can mail it Right? Now Your scratching your head and wondering how you will ever get this big mess that's in front of you in order. Here are some tips that may help you get organized.

1.) Write or type "ORIGINAL SUBMISSION" and the name of the form "I-129F Petition" on both the cover letter and the envelope you will be mailing it in. See the exact cover letter that I sent with my submission.

2.) Use the appropriate mailing address

3.) When preparing your packet, Do not use binders or folders that cannot be easily disassembled. Instead, use ACCO fasteners to hold together thick or bulky applications or petitions. Two-hole punching the top of the material for easy placement in the file is appreciated. Also Get some dividers with tabs as to assist in locating items in your packet. The tabs should be placed on the bottom and not the side for ease in filing.

Now Lets get started and assemble your Packet and get all your hard work mailed so you can get your "Approval" faster :):):)

1.) Cover Letter on top

2.) Add divider with a tab listed as I-129F Petition. Then add the FC-029 "Copy Certification" form signed and dated, I-129F Petition signed and dated with attached money order for $95.00, Any continuation sheets you may have, a photocopy of your birth certificate and a photocopy of the ID page of your passport.

3.) Add divider with tab listed as G-325A. Then add both G-325A forms with attached Adit pictures of you and your fiancé(e) as specified on INS Form M-378 in the clear plastic bags with your names and the word "Photographs" printed on each of the bags. Also don't forget to lightly print your names on the back of each photograph.

4.) Add divider with tab and list as Affidavit to Marry. Then add the Affidavit of Bona fide intentions to marry dated, signed, and Notarized.

5.) (If Applicable) Add divider with tab and list as Death Certificates. Then add any death certificates of a previous spouse that you or your fiancé(e) may have had. If Death Certificates are in a foriegn language, you must provide a Certified translation into english.

6.) (If Applicable) Add divider with tab and list as Divorce Decrees. Then add any divorce decrees terminating a previous marriage that you or your fiancé(e) may have had. If Divorce Decrees are in a foriegn language, you must provide a Certified translation into english.

7.) Add divider with tab listed as Proof of Meeting. Then in a plastic bag, add the Photographs of the two of you together and write "Photographs of the two of us together". Then add photocopies of any other evidence that you can submit to show you both have met each other. Click here for examples

8.) Add divider with tab listed as Evidence of a Relationship. Then add any Photocopies of emails and letters you and your fiancé(e) sent to each other as well as any Photocopies of phone bills that show calls to each other. Click here for Examples

NOTE: A good idea would be to Print on the top of each divider all the contents you included for that one Particular section! Anything to help make the INS job easier is a plus!
